A Bristol Wedding at The Tobacco Factory | Nick and Hannah
Nick and Hannah’s wedding at The Tobacco Factory in Bristol was such a brilliant one to photograph, and a particularly special one for me. Nick is one of my best work friends, so after countless Google Meets spent chatting absolute rubbish, it was pretty lovely to finally see him marry Hannah in person!
And honestly, they are just so perfect for each other. The whole wedding felt completely them: relaxed, creative, a little bit different and full of personality.
The Tobacco Factory was such a cool venue, with its industrial feel and exposed brickwork, and the food was seriously good. Beef tacos cooked over an open fire were a particular highlight! The whole evening had such a great atmosphere, helped along by an absolutely brilliant DJ who was playing exactly the sort of music I love.
They also pulled out all the stops when it came to the details. There were so many creative and personal touches, from a homemade Doggy Guess Who featuring Grubble and Arlo to personalised Connect the Dots. You could tell how much thought they had put into making everything feel completely their own.
And then there were the outfits. Not one, but two amazing looks for both the bride and groom, which gave us plenty of opportunities for some different portraits throughout the evening.
It was also a bit different for me photographically, as we headed into Bristol for some more urban couple portraits. I loved stepping outside my usual style for these, and the combination of Nick and Hannah, the city and those amazing brick backdrops worked so well.
It was such a fun, creative and completely personal wedding, and I could not be happier for two people who are just so right for each other. Really glad I got to be there to capture it.
