About Sam
Hello, I’m Sam, a photographer based in the New Forest with a background in architecture and visual storytelling.
After studying Architecture in Bath, I spent over a decade working in London as an architectural illustrator, creating imagery that captured not only how places looked, but how they felt. That experience continues to shape my photography today, influencing the way I work with light, composition and atmosphere.
I’m drawn to honest moments, beautiful landscapes and the connections between people. My style is relaxed, natural and documentary-led, blending genuine storytelling with a cinematic, editorial eye. Whether I’m photographing a wedding, a family adventure or a special celebration, my aim is always to create images that feel timeless, authentic and full of emotion.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me in wellies walking the dog through the forest, tending to my vegetable patch, baking something for the family, or making the most of life outdoors. These simple moments are often the ones I value most, and they're the same moments I love to capture for others.
Come and say hello.
