Beautiful Somerset Church Wedding | Margaux & Alex
Margaux and Alex's wedding was one of those days that felt effortlessly relaxed from start to finish. Set in the beautiful Somerset countryside, they were married in a lovely village church before celebrating with family and friends at a reception overlooking the rolling hills around Bagley.
It was one of the hottest days of the summer, with brilliant sunshine from morning until evening. Thankfully, the gardens and orchard provided plenty of shade and the perfect setting for some relaxed portraits together. We took a gentle stroll through the orchard, making the most of the golden light and incredible countryside views across Somerset.
One of the most special parts of the day was having Margaux's family travel all the way from France to celebrate with them. It made for such a wonderful atmosphere, with friends and family coming together from different countries to share such an important occasion.
After the church ceremony, everyone enjoyed a traditional afternoon tea instead of a formal wedding breakfast, which suited the laid-back feel of the day perfectly. Guests spent the afternoon chatting in the sunshine, enjoying homemade cakes, sandwiches and plenty of cups of tea while taking in the beautiful views.
Margaux and Alex planned a wedding that was completely true to them. Relaxed, elegant and centred around spending quality time with the people they love most. It was a genuine pleasure to capture every part of it.
Thank you both for asking me to be part of such a wonderful day. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together.
